History and Location

 . . .the real story

Over the years, rumors have traveled around the biker community so here we clear it all up and wonder no more!!!

In 1991, a biker from Newton named Jack Robinson began this crazy quest. He went to the owner of the Cassoday Cafe, Norma Arsenault and stated that the Saturday ride for breakfast would be better for his group if it were on Sunday's.  Norma replied that if she gave up her Sunday's it needed to be for good reason.  She would do it if he would bring enough bikers to be worth her time and money.  The first Motorcycle Sunday (as the locals call it) began with 12.  It's said that possibly 6 or 7000 bikers now come on a good day.  I bet Jack never dreamed that would happen!!!!

Please don't forget to give to this barrel, it helps off set the expenses of Port-a Pots and other things needed to make this event a great one!!!
